Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use the website getinternet.es in any of its languages, send us a request, contact us or refer a friend. It follows the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the protection of personal data (LOPDGDD). It does not cover the data of our customers under a service contract: the contract itself explains how we handle it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data described in this policy is DVBLab Communication, S.L. (GetInternet.es), tax ID (NIF) B54334628, registered office at Calle Imperio Argentina 8, Local 5, Urb. Monteazul, 03178 Benijófar (Alicante), Spain, registered in the Commercial Registry of Alicante, volume 3286, folio 199, section 8, sheet A-112228. The companies that run the website are listed in the legal notice.
For anything about your data, write to privacy@getinternet.es or to the postal address above, or call +34 966 26 09 40. We have not appointed a data protection officer: messages to this address go directly to the person in charge of data protection at our company.
2. What data we use, what for and on what basis
| When | Data | What for | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| You send the "Check availability" form | Name, email or phone, address, town, preferred language, the plan you were looking at | Check coverage at your address, call you back and prepare an offer | Steps you ask for before a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) |
| You send the "Request a call" form | Name, phone, preferred language, best time to call, what the call is about | Call you back and answer your question | Steps you ask for before a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) |
| You call us, write to us by email or WhatsApp, or visit one of our offices | What you tell us, usually name, phone, email, address and your question | Answer you | Steps you ask for before a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| You allow us to keep your details for a future offer | Name, phone, address and the services you were interested in | Contact you again after about a year (section 3) | Your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) |
| You refer a friend | Your name and phone, your friend's name and phone | Contact your friend and give you both the free month (section 4) | Your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR); for your friend, our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| You came from one of our ads and send a form | Campaign parameters from the page address (utm_source and similar, gclid, fbclid), the first page you visited and the website you came from | Know which of our ads bring requests | Our legitimate interest in measuring our own advertising (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| Every visit to the website | IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time | Deliver the website, keep it secure and prevent abuse, for example no more than five form submissions from one IP address in ten minutes | Our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| You start filling in a form | IP address and technical signals from your browser and device, checked by Cloudflare Turnstile | Tell people from bots and protect the forms against spam | Our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| You accept analytics or marketing cookies | See the cookie policy | Statistics on how the website is used, measuring our ads | Your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE) |
If you arrive from one of our ads, the campaign parameters stay in the links while you browse, so that they reach the form even if you decline cookies. They are saved only with your request, in our own systems, and are not sent to Google, Meta or anyone else.
Where we rely on our legitimate interest, we have weighed it against your rights and interests. You can object to it at any time (section 9).
3. Keeping your details for a future offer
If, after talking to us, you decide not to go ahead, we ask whether you would like us to keep your details and contact you again in about a year, for example when coverage or prices change. We keep them only if you say yes, and we record when and how you said it.
- We keep your details for one year. If we have not contacted you within that year, we delete them ourselves.
- When we contact you and you are still not interested, we ask whether you would like us to keep them for one more year. Without a new yes, we delete them.
- You can withdraw your permission at any time, on the phone or by writing to unsubscribe@getinternet.es, and we delete your details.
If you do not give permission, we delete your details once your request has been dealt with.
4. Refer a friend
When you refer a friend, you give us your name and phone and your friend's name and phone. Please refer only people who have agreed to be contacted by us.
- We call your friend to present our services, tell them who referred them and where we got their details, and point them to this policy.
- If your friend is not interested or we cannot reach them, we delete their details, at the latest three months after you referred them. Your friend can ask us to delete them at any time by writing to unsubscribe@getinternet.es.
- If your friend becomes our customer, we record that you referred them, so that both of you receive the free month. This record becomes part of the service contracts.
5. Marketing
We contact you about your request and, later, only if you have allowed us to (section 3). We do not make sales calls or send advertising by email or text message to people who have not agreed to it. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to partners or other companies for their own purposes. To stop any contact from us, write to unsubscribe@getinternet.es.
6. Who receives your data
Your data is handled by our own staff. The website runs on our own servers in Spain. These providers process data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement and only on our instructions:
- Google (Google Workspace): our email, where requests from the website arrive.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile): spam protection of the forms.
If you accept analytics or marketing cookies, Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) also receive data about your visit, as explained in the cookie policy. For the Meta pixel, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. are joint controllers of collecting and sending the data; what Meta does with it afterwards is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.
Our maps load their images from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address, as any website you visit does. If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp, your messages go through WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. under its own privacy policy.
We disclose data to public authorities, courts or the police only when the law requires it.
7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Google, Cloudflare and Meta may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which these companies take part, and by standard contractual clauses. The OpenStreetMap Foundation is based in the United Kingdom, which also has an adequacy decision. We do not transfer your data to any other country.
8. How long we keep your data
- Requests, calls and messages: until your request has been dealt with, and at the latest three months after you sent it. If you become our customer, the data passes to your service contract.
- Details kept for a future offer: one year, extended only with your new permission (section 3).
- Referred friends: until we have spoken to them, and at the latest three months (section 4).
- Campaign parameters: as long as the request they came with.
- Server logs: up to 30 days. The count of form submissions per IP address: ten minutes.
- Records of your permission and of requests to exercise your rights: as long as we may need to prove them, and at the latest three years, the limitation period for data protection infringements.
- Cookies: see the cookie policy.
9. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- ask whether we hold data about you and get a copy (access);
- have incorrect or incomplete data corrected (rectification);
- have your data deleted (erasure);
- ask us to use your data only in a limited way, for example while we check a complaint (restriction);
- object to uses based on our legitimate interest, and we stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds (objection);
- receive the data you gave us in a common electronic format, or have it sent to another company (portability);
- withdraw your consent, without affecting what we did before.
Write to privacy@getinternet.es or to our postal address. It is free. We answer within one month; for complex requests we may extend this by two more months and will tell you why. If we cannot be sure who you are, we may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you think we have not handled your data correctly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es). We would be grateful if you wrote to us first, so that we can put it right.
10. Do you have to give us your data?
No, you are never obliged to. But without your phone number we cannot call you back, and without your address we cannot check coverage. Fields marked as optional can be left empty. We do not make decisions about you by purely automated means; the spam check only stops automated form submissions.
11. Children
Only adults can order our services. Please do not send us any data if you are under 14. If we find out that we hold data of a child under 14 without the consent of their parents or guardians, we delete it.
12. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the staff who need your data for their work can access it, and they are bound by confidentiality. If a security breach puts your data at risk, we inform the Spanish Data Protection Agency and, when the law requires it, you.
13. Our mobile app
We are preparing a mobile app. When it is published, this policy will also apply to it. Before its release, we will add here what data the app uses and why, for example for notifications, and its page in the app stores will link to this policy.
14. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way we handle data or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change significantly affects data we already hold about you, we will let you know. The policy is available in several languages; if the versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.
