Frequently asked questions
Is fibre available at my address?
Use “Check availability” or call us. We confirm within one working day.
How long does installation take?
In 9 out of 10 cases we install the day after coverage is confirmed and we have your details and documents. The visit itself takes a few hours: we install the equipment, set up Wi-Fi and test the speed.
What does “symmetric” mean?
Upload speed is the same as download speed, which matters for video calls, cloud backups and working from home.
Is there a contract?
Only on the 600 and 1000 Mbit plans, where installation (valued at €149) is free: 12 months. On 300 Mbit you pay the €149 installation and there is no minimum term, so you can cancel at any time.
Which languages do you support?
English, Spanish, Russian, German, Dutch, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finnish.
Can I keep my mobile number?
Yes. We move your existing number to our mobile plan for free.
How do I pay my bill?
Online in My account, by direct debit, or in one of our offices.
What if something stops working?
Call support on +34 966 26 09 40. A real person answers, on average in under 15 seconds.
What happens after the 12-month contract?
It simply continues on the same terms and price, without a minimum term. You can cancel any time; a new connection later would need a new installation fee or a new 12-month term.
What is Start/Stop?
Fibre for holiday homes: installation €149, then 400 Mbit for €29 or 1000 Mbit for €35 a month only in the months you switch it on, with a minimum of 4 months per calendar year. Available in a limited coverage area.
Who owns the router?
GetInternet.es. There is no deposit; the router is returned when the contract ends (€50 if not returned).
Can I have mobile without fibre?
Yes. Mobile plans can be taken on their own, and there is no minimum term.
Does my plan work abroad?
Yes, across the EU plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein at no extra cost. Outside that zone roaming is charged by zone (see the roaming price list).
Can I get an eSIM?
Yes, on every plan. It is issued in person at one of our offices with your ID; eSIM does not work with Apple Watch.
Can I keep my landline number?
Yes. We port your number from any Spanish provider free of charge. We need a copy of your ID and your latest bill.
Do I need special equipment for the landline?
A small adapter (ATA) plugs into your router and comes pre-programmed with your number; some routers have a phone port built in. Any standard phone works.
