What is symmetric fibre and why does it matter for working from home?
Symmetric fibre uploads as fast as it downloads, for example 600 Mbit both ways. Upload speed is what carries your side of a video call, cloud backups and large files you send, so it matters when you work from home. All GetInternet.es fibre plans are symmetric: 300, 600 or 1000 Mbit.
Many connections download fast but upload much more slowly. With symmetric fibre there is no such gap:
- Video calls stay sharp in both directions, even with several people online at home.
- Cloud backups and uploads of large files finish in a fraction of the time.
